(Delaware ON)  In only the second event night of the season, Trevor Collver and the Inventory Express Chevrolet Camaro took the checkered flag on the 2nd feature race of the night at Delaware Speedway.  After starting 3rd, Collver was able to get to the front of the field in the opening laps by moving around Kathleen Green. Rick Verberne climbed to second place and was only able to get to four car lengths behind but could not chase down Collver’s # 1 Camaro.

Collver’s first race was equally as dominate, but ended in complete heartbreak. Starting out side of row three, Collver was able to work his way to the lead and lead the entire field over 15 laps. Collver had opened up the lead to over five seconds and was headed for victory lane before he noticed a rear tire softening. A caution flag for a spinning car brought the field together and that’s when Collver realized he had a tire going down.  He was able to make the tire change under yellow flag conditions and rejoined the tail end of the field.   With six laps to go, Collver battled back from 13th to grab the 5th position when the race concluded.

Trevor Collver and his #1 Inventory Express Chevrolet had a successful opening night at Delaware Speedway Friday night.

The evening started out strong when the cars took to the track for group qualifying.  Collver set fast time with a 20.275, just 0.115 of a second off his own track record that he set last year in 2018.

With the a dice inversion, Collver would start 5th and worked his way only to 4th by the time the race was coming to its conclusion when 1st and 2nd place tangled off turn 4 and moved Collver up to 2nd place for what stock car fans classify as “overtime” with a green flag, white flag, checkered flag finish. On the start, Collver was unable to overtake eventual race winner Jamie Klumper out of Mitchell ON. Trevor Collver would settle for second.

In the second of the Twin 25’s Collver would start 7th and was the excitement of the event moving up methodically each set of laps and by races end had fought his way to the second place position on the track.  One late race restart set up a final chance to work his way to the front but was just unable to keep the car on the bottom of the track to make a run on eventual race winner Andrew Ferreira of Strathroy.

Qualifying - Set Fast time 20.275
(Current Track Record 20.161 Trevor Collver - set May 13 2018)

Race 1 Started 5th Finished 2nd
Race 2 Stated 7th. Finished 2nd

(Lucan ON) - With great anticipation Trevor Collver will compete in his sixth season in the Super Stock division at Delaware Speedway in 2019. Coming off a two-win season and setting the current Super Stock qualifying Track record in 2018, the up coming season has the entire organization overwhelmed with excitement.
Preparations for the May 3rd opening night has the crew setting up to kick off the season with a big 50 lap season opener.  Traditionally, the longer races have been right in Collver’s wheel house and is looking forward to the challenge of extra laps to get things done.

With 14 Race weekends scheduled at Delaware Speedway and an appearance at the $5000 to Win Short track Nationals at Jukasa Motor Speedway, Trevor Collver’s schedule will be equally thrilling and extremely busy.
If pre-season testing is any indication, the 2019 season will be competitive with the likes of Rick Verberne, Dave McCullough, Andrew Ferreira and Jamie Klumper to deal with on a week to week basis, as they all fight for their first Super Stock Championship.  This stacked field is expected to put on a show weekly at the famed half mile outside London ON.

A host of partners will get the Trevor Collver team to the track this year, and the team is thankful for all the support and the team is expected to deliver. A big shout out goes out to Inventory Express, Carter Trucking, D-K Equipment, Hodgins Custom service, Mark Kennedy Trucking, Outback Tire Shack, G&L Automotive, Goris Rentals, Nu Vista Realty Ahmed Waqas, Minuteman Press London North, Fix Auto London Northwest, Sissios Pizza, Wilds Printing, Hallmark Memorial, Mister Transmission Exeter Rd, Novus Glass London North, Dave Collver Auto Care, Melrose Garage, and Collver Towing.

The first event happens this Friday night May 3rd at Delaware Speedway, 5 kms west of London ON.  Gates open at 6:00pm with the green flag at 7:30pm. The Trans-Axle Heavy Duty Truck Parts Super Stocks share the bill with the Bone Stocks, and Pro Late Models. All features will be a special 50 lap event.

Delaware ON, (September 10, 2018)-  September continues to be a great month for Delaware Super Stock driver Trevor Collver.

Friday night Collver picked up his second win of 2018 as the speedway closed out its Championship season. In the first of two final points races, Collver would rollout out to the grid in fifth position after group qualifying concluded and quickly mounted a charge shortly after the green flag deployed.

A flurry of caution flags plagued the 25 lap event as Collver took the lead from Dave McCullough before the race was five laps old. Collver's Inventory Express Lubricants #1 Camaro got out to a five car length lead, but the rash of cautions would continue. Each restart would put Collver beside a different competitor as the battle for second was fierce between Championship hopefuls. Dave McCullough, Gary Adriaensen, and Andrew Ferreira all took turns at Collver after each restart. Ferreira was in need of points to steal a championship and had the most to gain to get by Collver and made several attempts. Collver was able to keep all the advances behind him and took the checkered flag.

Race two didn't go quite as well, as the Collver team had to start well back after the inversion and had his work cut out to get to the front. Collver quickly carved his way to the front of the field but was involved in a three-wide altercation that knocked out the toe and struggled to keep inside the top five. The effects of the ill handling car also forced Collver against the wall and flattened a tire and went for a spin in turn one. Collver did bounce back to finish inside the top 10, but left disappointed to leave points on the table. Trevor Collver finished the year with two wins, 15 Top 5's and 22 Top 10's and a final points standing of fifth, a mere four points out of fourth. The year was also a success as he left the season as the official qualifying track record holder.

Up next for the Trevor Collver Motorsport team is the 37th Great Canadian Race weekend at Delaware Speedway. Collver has taken the checkered flag two of the last three years. Collver has had some successful outings in September Spectacular and comes in extremely confident to take the checkers again this coming Friday night September 14. The TCM team welcomes all fans to be part of the festivities of Delaware Speedways biggest weekend, The Great Canadian Race.

Collver would like to thank all of his fans, friends, family and marketing partners that include Inventory Express Lubricants, Carter Trucking, Fix Auto North London. Minuteman Press London North, Gorris Rentals, Hodgins Custom Service, D-K Equipment, Nationwide Oil Spray, Mark Kennedy Trucking, Mister Transmission-London South, Outback Tire Shack. G&L Automotive. Dave Collver Auto Care, Melrose Garage. Novus Glass, Wilds Printing, Collver Towing, Sissios Pizza London, and Ahmed Waqus NuVista
